Georgia Baptist Children's Homes & Family Ministries, Inc. (GBCH&FM) respects the privacy of its online visitors. Visitors are not required to register or provide any personal information in order to access general information on our website. When a visitor voluntarily registers as a user and/or supplies us with contact information, we may periodically send mailings, e-mails, or make telephone calls with information on our programs, services and upcoming events. GBCH&FM is committed to respecting the privacy of our donors. We have developed this privacy policy to ensure our donors that donor information will not be shared with any third party. We have been ministering to children and families since 1872 and are continually working to ensure every dollar is used to its fullest for this purpose. Anything less would violate stewardship principles and the trust we keep with you, with the children, families, and communities we serve, and most importantly, with God. We are committed to the highest standard of stewardship excellence.

GBCH&FM provides this Online Donor Privacy Statement to make you aware of our privacy policy and security practices and to inform you about the way your information is collected and used. We are committed to respecting your online privacy and security.

Information Collected
On GBCH&FM pages you can make donations and request materials. The online information we collect and maintain includes:

  • Information you wish to share: questions, comments, suggestions
  • Requests for information: e.g., we will send periodic mailings related to specific fundraising appeals, prayer concerns, and newsletters.

How Information is Used
GBCH&FM uses your information to understand donor needs and provide you with better service. Specifically, we use donor information to complete your transaction and communicate back to you. Credit card numbers are used only for payment processing through a secure third-party processor and are not retained for other purposes. From time to time, we may also use information you provide to update you on ministry happenings that we think would be of particular interest to you.We use the comments donors offer to provide them with information requested, and we take seriously each recommendation as to how we might improve communication.

GBCH&FM will not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personally identifiable information to others. The identity of all our donors will be kept confidential. Unless we have your permission or are required by law, the use of donor information will be limited to the internal purposes of GBCH&FM and only to further the ministry, activities, and purposes of GBCH&FM. GBCH&FM wants to keep your personally identifiable information accurate. Georgia Baptist Children's Homes and Family Ministries, Inc. ("GBCH&FM") is committed to maintaining the privacy of your protected health information.
