    Our Ascend Program teaches life skills to our youth so they are reaching for the goal of independence

    Residential care for clients age 12 - 21 with a primary mental health diagnosis and a developmental disability (including, but not limited to, autism, lower IQ, and/or developmentally delayed)
    *EBD must be primary diagnosis
    Personalized care for every need.
    Accommodations geared toward success.
    Each child has a care plan established to help them reach individualized goals. These objectives are evaluated weekly so children can be celebrated for their accomplishments and set new goals.

    Additionally, our children continue to attend local public school and receive additional services through on-site counseling, therapy, and support.

    Teaching and reinforcing various skills both throughout a household and community.
    Residents learn a number of household and individual care skills built specifically for their needs, including household skills, how to access community resources, fine motor development, and alternative communication skills and resources for non-verbal residents.

    Spiritual Counseling and Care
    We believe holistic healing is only attainable through Jesus, and we strive to be intentional about creating space for clients to experience Christ.
    Consistent Oversight
    Our programs are able to provide varying levels of watchful oversight to meet the particular needs of our clients. For our Ascend Program, we offer both Additional and Maximum Watchful Oversight.
    Local Campuses
    Allows us to serve children in their own community, which helps them adjust to their placement with less disruption during a difficult time. Ascend is located on our Meansville campus.
    Community Support
    Community groups recognize the need for residential care for children coming from abusive and neglectful situations in their area, and help however possible.
